Ingredients:

Iron: helps the normal functioning of red blood cells and haemoglobin, which transports oxygen to all organs in the body. In addition, it helps the normal cognitive function by aiding the synthesis, degradation and storage of neurotransmitters: serotonin, dopamine and GABA. It also plays an important role in helping to combat tiredness and fatigue.

Vitamin C: improves the absorption of iron in different ways: it reduces the iron contained in food to the Fe2+ form which is more soluble; and in the acidic environment of the stomach, it forms a very stable complex (ferric ascorbate) which remains soluble in the duodenum. Therefore, it is the best-known enhancer of bioavailability of non-haem iron.

Vitamin B9 (folic acid) B6 and B12: aid the normal formation of red blood cells. If we do not consume enough, the maturation of red blood cells will be incomplete. They will be larger, have a shorter lifespan and their ability to transport oxygen will be reduced.
