Its secret is the unrivaled X-BIONIC® Partial Kompression. It puts pressure on your muscles just via 1-mm-wide ridges. That reduces muscle vibrations, improves the uptake of oxygen and nutrients to muscles, and enables faster regeneration. The 3D-BionicSphere® System on the chest and back also enables continuous air circulation, allowing sweat to evaporate and unleash its important cooling power. AIR-CONDITIONING CHANNEL® FOR X-SOCKS®

We positioned the Air-Conditioning Channel® under the arch of the foot, the area that normally does not touch the ground. It begins there and then moves along the foot up to the cuff. Covering only 30 % of the skin’s surface, it is constructed using a fine-knit mesh, so with every step, moist air is pumped out of the shoe and fresh air is drawn back in. An optimal air circulation system for the foot is now a reality: fresh air can even be circulated within a snug-fitting shoe.

Leaves residual moisture on the skin that the body does not interpret as dampness. We have no sensors for sweat. We can only perceive sweat mechanically once drops form and begin to trickle down. EXPANSION RIBS®

Expansion Ribs® knitted fabric fold apart based on the accordion principle, insuring that cold doesn’t cool down the elbows. Event when sharply bent during activity, the insulating effect is maintained through warm air that is already stored in the interior. The flexibility of this technology and elasticity of the yarn allow for the freedom of movement.

SWEAT TRAPS®

Trap perspiration before you start to feel it. Wick perspiration away so it can evaporate using heat dynamics. A film of perspiration – too thin to be noticeable – is left behind to cool the skin.

X-BIONIC® PARTIALKOMPRESSION®

Partial Kompression by X-BIONIC® utilises the advantages of compression without neglecting to cool. During sports activities, body warmth is created. In extreme situations up to 1,200 watts worth. Up to 90 % of this is released by the athlete from the skin to maintain a body temperate of 37 °C. X-BIONIC® Partial Kompression applies targeted pressure on 1mm wide ridges. Left and right of the ridge is a compression-free area where compression could have a negative effect on blood circulation to the skin. In this way, the blood flow through veins and capillaries remain unimpeded. Partial Kompression uses the skin as a surface for cooling and, thus, can take advantage of the body’s personal micro-climate for optimising performance.
